The VIth International Maritime Defence Show is held From 3 to 7 July 2013 in St. Petersburg.
The salon was opened in "Lenexpo", by traditional airshow of aerobatic teams "Swifts", "Russian Knights" and "Rus".
There are 36 ships, boats and ships from the Navy at the berths.
Three foreign Navy ships have taken part in the show. Such as submarine and frigate of the Royal Navy of Netherlands, the Polish Navy ship.
"Rosoboronexport" shows more than 100 samples of Russian military equipment for the Navy.
The International Maritime Defense Show, is one of the leading exhibitions in shipbuilding and naval armaments.
Salon includes the matters of all stages of the creation of ships and marine equipment.
Such as shipbuilding, power plants, weapons and armaments, naval aviation, navigation and control systems, infrastructure software, new materials and technologies.
Not only experts but also the residents of the city can visit a salon.
They will see the ships at marine berths.
And they will also observe the World famous Air-Show of groups of aerobatics "Swifts" and "Russian Knights”. Sunday 11.00 – 12.30 "Lenexpo"
458 participants from 30 countries have been registrated now.
The program of show includes watching the Navy ships and boats, scientific conferences and seminars.
Viewers are going to see a regatta.
