The XIIth International Festival " A Celestial Fair - 2013 " was held in Kungur from June, 29th till July, 6th, 2013.
The festival was a competition between the air courts of the ultralight aviation.
Participants from Russia, Germany, Hungary, Japan, France, Latvia took part in the festival.
Pilots showed their skills of the flight control of hang gliders, ultralight aircrafts, hot-air balloons.
Before the flight, participants got tasks on the implementation of which they would receive the points, that subsequently would form a rating of the pilot.
They had to find various signs and symbols located along the route, which are made of white cloths, to mark the location of them on the map and to take a photo of the objects.
The next task was an exercise in the endurance which consisted in what the ultralight aircrafts had to hold on the height a maximum quantity of time, with the limited stock of fuel.
Pilots had received a new task. They should fly round so many objects as possible within a hundred minutes
The objects were: lakes, rivers, railway platforms, churches,a platinum.
The next task included the flight on the maximum distance.
The difficult task was to hit the target, that was located near the Victory Monument T-34 by the marker.
Pilots was set a task, called " To sink a ship".
The other balloons should sink the ship the role of which the balloon, named "Citroen ", had played.
July, 5th the participants of the festival of aeronautics « A Celestial Fair» made a flight through the border between Europe and Asia, which is noted by a sign named “ the Europe – Asia ” under the city of Pervouralsk of Sverdlovsk area.
Pilots of balloons have decided to show, that as there is no barrier between the West and the East in the sky so, there is no obstacle to friendship between aeronauts of all over the world.
The international representatives from 4 countries of the world were watching the flight.
Referees made a flight through the border on the balloons.
Now, organizers of the festival have begun the official registration of papers for the special commission of Guinness World Records.
The cultural program was held there besides the sport competitions.
Every day was devoted to holding the cultural performances of the countries from which the participants were.
A medieval festival was held during the Day of Latvia.
The spectators had watched joust of strong and brave men, massive battles of warriors, national dances.
Volleys of the cannon had sounded at the end of festival.
Performances with actors dressed in the national clothes-kimono, the Japanese poetry, the battles of samurais, the launch of sky lanterns, Ikebana from fresh flowers, origami were shown in the Day of Japan.
The visitors saw "Deja vue"- the musical in the Day of France.
The award ceremony of winners of the competition was held in the square of aeronauts.

“They began inflating the hot-air ballons very quickly right before us.
They were swaying in the air, then one by one they began lifting to the sky.
The spectators watched them with admiration.
The action touched my soul, I decided also to fly.
We counted nine balloons above us.
I made a promise to come here the next year and to fly on the balloons at all costs.
We liked the festival " A Celestial Fair", we thought about rivers, churches.
We will return here necessarily.
